College Courses

The "Counselor's Class" (EDPS 337) is still a foundational part of the NHRI experience. Counselors are encouraged to take the class in the fall of their first year in NHRI, more importantly, their first semester with their new junior counselor. Lindsay Hastings is the course instructor with four to five outstanding upperclassmen counselors serving as teaching assistants.

NHRI also has the privilege of teaching "Strengths Labs" in the CEHS Signature Course. For the first third of the course, the Signature Course students study their strengths and how those strengths can apply to their careers. Lindsay Hastings is the instructor for the labs along with 30 - 35 teaching assistants.
